The kitchen/diner is a large light, airy room with 2 sets of French windows looking out on to 2 Juliette balconies with lovely views of the village and distant mountains. The cooking range has 2 electric ovens, including a fan assisted oven and a gas hob; there is also a microwave, dishwasher; fridge freezer; toaster and kettle. Plates, cutlery and cookware are provided. A utility room on the ground floor contains a washing machine; tumble dryer; a second fridge freezer; cool boxes and barbecue equipment.
Two bedrooms have king size beds; bedroom 3 has a double bed and the fourth bedroom has bunk beds. A cot that can be made available on request.
Games room contains a new full size pool table; billiards; table football; table tennis and darts.
There are gardens with terraces to the front and rear of the property. The front garden and terrace faces on to a quiet, no through road, apparently one of the oldest in the region. The centre of the village is at the end of this road, where there is a good restaurant in walking distance. The street is traffic free allowing quiet and privacy to relax. There are garden chairs, tables, sun loungers, and a barbecue available. A lovely pergola provides shade on the front terrace and is decorated with coloured lights for relaxing outside in the evenings. Both gardens have views of the mountains and village.
The large back garden can be accessed from the main road and can provide off street parking. There are double gates protecting it from the road which is also relatively quiet.
There are 2 shower/WC rooms; one on each floor. There is also a separate WC on the top floor.
Beautiful, quiet location within 10 minutes of all amenities. The house sits on the edge of a pretty village surrounded by the foothills of the Pyrenees, vineyards and sunflowers. Located in the Aude region in the heart of the medieval Cathar country, just 50 minutes from Carcassonne.
